Reminder #1: vegan leather = plastic. Much better for the animals, but still not great for the environment.

Reminder #2: Getting that gear ain’t cheap. A return Sydney-Dubai Business flight on Emirates will set you back around $14,000. Fancy first instead? That’ll be $20,000. So it won’t be happening for me until I win the lottery. And economy won’t get an update to kits until later in the year. Them’s the breaks.
