I thought the Spice Girls had set this year’s overpriced merchandise record with a $60 Christmas tree decoration. But I should have known that the money, money, money-hungry team at ABBA HQ would be able to outdo that.
The official ABBA merchandise store currently highlights a selection of merchandise themed around the band’s legendary 1981 album The Visitors. One of those items is a luggage tag. The headline price? $51 Australian. For a luggage tag.

And that’s before you add in postage. Getting that luggage tag sent to Australia will cost a ridiculous $37. That’s $88 in total.

Needless to say, this will not be joining my ABBA collection. I’ll just stick with reminding people to try out the cryptic ABBA song titles puzzle, which is 100% free.
